Dr. Jay Chanmugam, D.O. graduated from the University of Texas-Austin and went on to the University of North Texas Health Science Center –Fort Worth, where he earned his Medical Degree. He did his Internship at St Vincent Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio and his Residency at York Hospital Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania in Emergency Medicine. He is residency trained and board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).

He was a dedicated emergency room doctor until opening Prompt Care of Central Florida on March 15, 2010. Dr. Jay, as he is known to his patients and his dedicated staff wants you to know that you can always count on Prompt Care of Central Florida for courteous and affordable medical care.
